HAPE Skill Development Centers
Duration:- Oct 2014 to December 2016
HAPE Development & Welfare Association has launched Skill Development Centers in Rajo Khanani & Haji Sawan with the partnership of Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Program [BBSYDP]. Which has trained 466 educated, semi literate, uneducated Male and Female youth [18 to 35 Years] in 3 trades with an objective to facilitate them for employment and curtail poverty.
The Program designed to address the poverty and unemployment of youth by imparting them skilled training in the employable trades; viewing the dire need of society to develop quality human resource through a strategic and focused program to raise the economy of province in specific and country in general leading to a prosperous area.
Objects
Provide Information technology, Carpenter and General Electron Training to unemployed and uneducated Persons in Two centers
- Ensure Quality of Technical Training.
- Aimed at training unemployed youth of Area for acquiring productive skills for gainful employment




Empower Rural Women
Duration:- June 2014 to Continue….
HAPE provide alternative incomes for women in Badin and Thar rural, tribal and urban slum belts. HAPE taught Patchwork, Appliqué, Took Raly and Tanka embroidery skills to the women for them to earn a secure living. Today, HAPE provides continuous training to women artisans to improve their skills, a support network to them in their villages and a respectable position in their family and society.
Impact of HAPE’s work: HAPE’s work has catalyzed a noticeable change in the lives of its artisans, who once were not even exposed to their own villages. Today these women artisans are confident enough to make their own decisions within the family as well as in different socio-political groups. Economic empowerment has also created a marked difference in their awareness towards education, healthcare, social status and family life.
