Under the current circumstances, the lowest strata of the society, comprising of daily wage workers, construction workers, contract laborers, street vendors have been the worst hit. These groups have lost the only source of their income and have no means to make ends meet or provide food for their families. Hape Development and welfare Association is a United Nations accredited NGO. Hape Development and welfare Association Provide of ration bags, groceries, and other hygiene products to underprivileged families in various villages of Taluka Matli District Badin. Our team’s mission is simple – no one should have to sleep hungry. A community-driven initiative that is supported by the local philanthropists and HAPE members, the bags are filled with essential food items, such as rice, milk, flour, biscuits and oil, which are separately packed for families.
More than 800 packets have been given to people since hape started this welfare service in March. 
In the beginning, Hape received contributions from three or four philanthropists, but now nearly 50 community members are donating the foodstuff. Hape is also contributing from members end, though Hape is not accepting any cash.
The family packs weigh around 20 kilograms and the ration is enough to last for 10 to 15 days.

Distribution of Hygiene kits

Hape distributed 100 hygiene kits to the residents of 12 goths near Matli. Each hygiene kit made with reusable bags contained 10 masks, 1 sanitizer, a nail cutter and 3 soaps for the families. Hape briefed the residents of each goth about COVID-19 and how they can keep themselves safe.
